Originally from northern California, Mrs. Corso has taught various levels of composition and literature throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island in both secondary and higher education institutions. At Rocky Hill, she teaches American Literature and Journalism. Last spring, she directed a professional educator's workshop at the Rhode Island Writing Project's Annual Conference; and in 2005, she participated in the Boston Writing Project Summer Institute. In 2004, she was awarded a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities to participate in the Summer Seminars for School Teachers program.
